Privacy policy

This policy covers med-rise.com, operated by ViaAI LLC ("MedRise", "we"). Other MedRise sites have their own notices, summarized below.

What this site collects

This site has no accounts and no advertising, and it sets no cookies. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies or local storage, does not build a profile of you and does not track you across other websites. We see only totals, such as page views, referring sites, countries and browser types.

Course exam

The Bloodborne Pathogens Training exam runs in your browser. Your answers and the name you type for your certificate are not sent to us. Your browser's local storage keeps your last passing score and date so you can make your certificate again; clear your browser data to remove it.

Contact form and email

When you send the contact form, we receive your name, email address, topic, optional school or organization, and your message. The form is delivered to our [email protected] mailbox and recorded in a spreadsheet in our Google Workspace account, and we send you one automatic email confirming we received it. If you email [email protected] directly, we receive your address and whatever you send. We use this information only to reply and to provide the services you ask about. We do not sell personal information. Please do not send patient information or other health records.

Children

MedRise is meant for adults in medical education and the general public. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
